My account can't change my gamer pic and such (to a custom), but it's considered an Adult ...

Basically the title. I attempted to change the gamer pic earlier, and it would say something along the lines of access blocked or so. This is also on the Xbox App, on a phone (if that helps). It used to work, and I've used a custom gamer pic a couple of
times already. It just stopped working today.

Also, it as an Adult account.

Custom Gamer Pic

I want to change my Xbox Gamer Pic to a custom one, but whenever I try to upload a custom gamer pic, it said you must have an adult account. So I went on to my Microsoft family and made my account an adult account because for some reason it was set on a child
account. Then I went to change my gamer pic again, and it still says that I need an adult account in order to change my gamer pic even though I already set my account to be an adult account. Does anyone know how to get around this?

Becoming an Adult Account to change gamerpic to a custom gamerpic photo

Yea I want to change my gamer pic to something that is not the default selection. I can't do that however as I need to have an adult account. I changed my account to an adult one via age and everything else but I still can't change my gamer pic to a custom
one.

If you uploaded a picture that may and been against the Terms of Service, your privilege for changing pictures may have been revoked.

Check the email associated what the gamertag to see.

Did you recently change from an child account to an adult account? If so, you will need to sign-out and sign back in again for the setting to take affect.

It's only custom gamer pics that can't be added without it being an adult account.

If you can't update your gamer pic, it would suggest that you have a child account, which could also be why you can't view others clips. If you entered a date of birth, when creating your Xbox account, that has you below the age of 18 (20 in Japan and
South Korea) then you will have to wait for it to naturally reach adult before you can get a custom gamer pic. Please note that changing the account to adult and an adult date of birth will not work. Xbox accounts work off the first date of birth entered and
it can not be changed.

how do i change the email my xbox live account is associated with?

i've also had trouble with the child/adult settings for my account too. it's set to adult, but it tells me i'm "too young" when i try to get into privacy settings or try to change my gamer pic to a custom image

any help is appreciated
