My account cannot send messages to anybody on my Xbox one, but I can on Microsofts website.

I have recently found a major issue with my Microsoft account on a Xbox console where I cannot send messages...

I have talked with tech support and have not resolved this issue, hopefully by posting this I can gain some attention on the subject and can eventually fix this (I am going overseas).

Please note I can send messages from the Microsoft website and it's not limited to just my console (I've tested it).

Microsoft Account Verification Problem

I've just bought an xbox one and created a new Microsoft account to use on xbox live as my son uses my old account. I logged into the xbox website with no problems and changed my gamertag to the one I want. So then I tried to setup my account on my xbox one and get to the stage where it sends a verification e-mail, no problem I thought, checked my e-mail account nothing, tried again nothing and again, left it a few hours nothing. This was Tuesday night and it will not send a verification e-mail. After a search I tried to verify my Microsoft account onm their website and it always comes up with a 'temporary problem, try gain later' screen.

So basically I can't use the new xbox one I've had sitting there for 2 days until this gets resolved, Anybody goy any answers as I can't face phoning Microsoft customer services.Cheers

 

I can't send messages

I cannot send messages to my friends on xbox.com or any of my microsoft games. I've received a message on my microsoft bingo game that I cannot reply to. Even receiving one from my daughter, I can read it but not respond. It says "Due to past behavior, you
cannot send messages. Try again later."

How is that possible? I just made this account last month! And that was the very first time I sent a message!

Please help!
