    My account balance went poof


    I had about $10 in my account one day, the next day it was gone. I checked my payment history and I have bought nothing. Where did my money go??I got this money from a $10 dollar gift card, so what do I do??? Can microsoft give my money back, or do something???

    Xbox LIVE Gold went *Poof*

    Hi, I recently was having troubles with my Xbox LIVE Gold membership where my payment method was invalid because of an unused credit card so I removed it and the other payment method I had was a paypal and I could not remove that one because of an
    error I didn't really understand and when I tried to go on to Xbox LIVE I had another error and could not get on for a while, but after waiting a couple of days I was able to sign into Xbox LIVE but I only had a Silver Account and I am currently a free member
    but the problem is that I still had about a month left of Xbox LIVE Gold Membership left because it was supposed to expire in August I believe it was August third but I can't remember and I can't find out because on my account on my Xbox it says nothing about
    me currently having a Gold Membership and I really don't want to buy another Gold membership right now when I'm supposed to already have one so please help

    This also happened to me. I talked to support and she looked up my purchase history to see if i spent the 16 dollars i was missing. U could clearly tell I had like 31 dollars. I bought a game or something for 15 bucks hence i should have had 16 bucks in
    my account but i was saying 0. She told me she could clearly see that i should have the money as well and kept asking if i had bought anything else after the 15 dollar purchase. I hadnt and told her repeatedly that i did not, it would be showing that i did
    if that was the case. She told me to hang on a minute and ten minutes later she told me that she did not know what or where the money was or qhat had hapoened to it. She continued to say that i had probably made a purchase and forgot about it and that is where
    the money had gone. I know for a fact 100% that i didnt not and no one else did cause i have to put in a code only i know before a purchase she told me to try back later. So when i called back two days later looking at my purchase history the only thing that
    was on my history was the last 15 dollar purchase saying i only had 15 dollars to spend which was bs we both clearly saw i had 31 dollars two days before how this changed I HAVE NO IDEA. The person helping me this time said there was nothing he could do for
    me and pretty much hinting that i was lying about the money and i was trying to scam for some freebie. Which i wasnt for the life of me i dont know how my account changed like that and i will never see that 16 dollars, I just have to chalk it up to that im
    a "lier" and "scammer" supposedly and "that couldnt possibly happen!" And accept that i lost 16 bucks somewhere magical. Which sucks cause i have been with Xbox since the orginial Xbox playing Halo Combat Evolved online being 13 years old now im 27 and to
    be told im trying to scam for 16 bucks after spending so much money on xbox after new xbox, ive had them all btw, kinda hurt honestly. To be so loyal to MS and even after this im still a xbox "fanboy" "diehard" sucked to know they are not loyal back to customers
    who been here since day 1 hurt me bad so GOODLUCJ WITH UR SITUATION AND TAKE SCREENSHOTS AND WRITE DOWN THE PERSON U TALK TO I WISH I HAD AND MAYBE SOMETHING COULD HAVE BEEN DONE.

    If they're Xbox One games, then it's just a glitch and it will fix itself after a few days.

    If they're 360 games, then it could be a gamerscore reset.
