    GTA V - texture pop ins & graphical issues

    Hey guys,

    since a few weeks I notice many texture pop-ins when playing GTA. It's extreme while dirt biking through the countryside (there seems to be a thin line a few meters in front of me and everything that is beyond that is not fully rendered), but even while
    walking through a field of grass, there are man foliage-pop-ins.

    In the mission where you play Trevor whos observing people from a police helicopter, the pop-ins were brutal.

    When I first started the game, I'm quite sure those pop-ins weren't that obvious - or atleast I didn't realize them...

    Today I got another graphic bug. There was a flickering line of dots that I even saw from far away. I uploaded the video for you:

    Is anyone experencing this aswell?

    May this be a performance problem of my xbox one caused by software or hardware problems? Or am I too nitpicking?

    Even in Shadow of Mordor I recently noticed the chanege of textures when getting nearer to a building. This wasn't there in the beginning, I guess.

    GTA:V "Play Disk" install workaround

    I have played the game with this method for a few hours now, (disk1HDD,disk2USB) and I have not seen any performance issues, no pop-ins or bad textures, load times seem to be fine also.

    -

    I would say this workaround is valid and if you don't want to run the disk or have pop-ins try this. I will leave my setup this way unless Rockstar releases a patch to have it all on the HDD.

    NOTE: This method may not work with every flash drive.

    Hey there LikableSinger60.

    To start off, which games are you running into this trouble with? Is this during online multiplayer or singleplayer? If you haven't already, I suggest uninstalling a game and re-installing it to see if there is any change in it's performance.

    The question the whole issue boils down to is actually very simple: Is the graphic lag (e.g. pop-up textures/objects) better or worse when installing the play disk on a USB drive than when playing directly from the disk? A simple "better" or "worse" would

    The game seems to have some issues with graphics settings and performance on PC and Xbox. I've had issues with the game on PC and have read multiple reports of people having issues on Xbox One S and X. All we can do is wait for the developer to release
    an update.

    Do you have the texture pack downloaded. Graphics improve with it. Other than that it seems your xbox is dying. But sound also cuts out with lag. I really have no idea what to say... too many problems. Okay rereading it is def. your xbox.
