    I pulled my mic cord out the xbox one controller and now when i plug the mic in i cant hear anything.

    xbox One Controller BUG ( Audio Cutting 3.5m Jack )

    The X Box One seems to be more internet dependent than other consoles. Could have been a momentary I.S.P. problem, etc. I've noticed if that the controller goes to sleep while making a extended phone call, etc., I'll have to reboot the X Box One to get the
    headset working correctly.

    The X Box 360 had less problems with headsets and a much better range, as I used to be able to still hear/talk in chat while on the front porch. Microsoft seems to be working hard on updates, so hopefully they can fix these issues with a patch; though they
    would probably have to put in better transmitters to extend the range.

    xbox One Controller BUG ( Audio Cutting 3.5m Jack )

    I tried 2 different XB1 Controller and 2 Types of different 3.5m Jack,

    One Steelseries 7H and the other samsung normal Earphone.

    Audio wont stop cutting During youtube or games when im just 5 meters away or even LESS !

    There are many people complaining about this problem, I bought every controller for 59.99 Euros Please fix it via an update.

    Has anyone solved the audio cutting out issue using a headset via Stereo Headset Adapter yet? : xboxone

    Hello,

    Sorry to hear your issues. I assume when you say jack that your not using a controller with a built in 3.5m. Some things to check

    Make sure your not muted in the party chat, i know it sounds silly but it happens.

    Check for debri on the connectors on the jack and the controller.

    Depending on use, it may be time to upgrade the controller, unfortunately.

    Lastly check here for some common steps to https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/accessories/wired-headset-help

    Personally i have had controllers that would not work with the plug in jacks, and ultimately got an elite with the built in 3.5m.

    Hi there Damien,

    Thanks for the reply. In reference to a work around to the issue with the 3rd party headset is to use the Microsoft Wireless adapter for the Xbox One controller. This adapter helps convert the 3rd party 3.5m jack connection. Currently, our team is working
    on the solution.

    The only controllers that don't have a 3.5mm jack are the controllers of the Original Xbox One, also known as Xbox One FAT. The rest of the controllers, starting with the Xbox One S, have a 3.5mm jack.

    How can i hear my game through headphones?

    it also depend on the headphone set, mine have the 2 audio component adapters, one options if to by a HDMI to 5 component cable then plus the headset into the audio ports as you did with the 360, but I think that only supports 720 and not 1080, so at the
    moment its one trade off for another.

    Other options for the above, involve 3.5m jack to/from component adapters
