My 12 Month Xbox Live Pre Paid Code isn't Activating

I just recently tried to activate my Xbox Live 12 Month pre paid card a few days ago and the card wouldn't activate. I've tried probably on 5 other occasions and it still won't work. After typing in the code and pressing "redeem now" I would get an error
message saying that my ''billing account has been locked from making purchases'' and that I should see code 80153021. I looked up to see if I have any unpaid bills and I don't have any. I even tried to activate the card on my computer and it still won't activate.
What should I do? I don't think my retailer will refund me for a scratched card, so can Microsoft manually activate it?

P.S. After the card failed to activate I had a 2 week XBL pre paid card and tested to see if it would work and it activated just fine. So I'm totally confused.

I keep getting an error code when i try to pay with my pre paid xbox live gold 12 month card why? Ive been trying all day.

Thanks for the reply. I just have a quick question: should I wait to call until my two week subscription is over? Because I've read online that you can't overlay XBL subscriptions if you're using one that comes free with video games or consoles. I just want
to know if I'll get the 12 months of XBL if I'm currently using a 2 week subscription because the last thing I want is to call and a glitch to occur.

If you're more comfortable waiting until your 14 day trial is over, you can totally do that and then try redeeming your code again. If you still have issues at that point, you'll definitely want to call in though.

Hi there,

Xbox Game Pass CANNOT be stacked like the Xbox Live Gold subscription can with pre-paid codes. Each account can only have one 12 month Game Pass subscription at a time.

Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. However, pre-paid cards do not have expiration dates so you are able to apply the second 12 month code after the first 12 month cycle is over.
