my 12 month membership of xbox live gold was canceled before 12 months, but I did not cancel it, this morning I was going to play fortnite battle royale but when I entered it told me to buy the subscription of xbox live gold but if the subscription
there was purchased yet not finished as I redeemed it on 12/28/17

Xbox live gold membership

Hello, I have activated pre-paid 12 months Xbox live gold membership before Christmas. Today I got e-mail from Microsoft and it says "Pre-paid one-month Xbox LIVE Gold membership-order has been canceled 12 Jan 2015." I went home and tried if i can log in
to live, but it asked me to renew my Gold membership. I haven´t even been online today before i noticed that e-mail or taken any contact to Microsoft / Xbox support in a long time

please double check http://account.microsoft.com/services to see if the subscription is showing there.

If the subcription shows, try the following steps

Remove profile from the console (Make sure you know the account credentials for the account, since you will need them later)

Perform the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:
Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console

Redownload your profile

If these steps fail or the subscription isn't showing at all, then its best to contact Xbox Support (via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat) at

I have the same issue.. I bought 12 months of xbox live gold 2 months ago.. and I canceled my 1 month free trial of xbox ultimate.. when I did that it cancelled my xbox live gold, I should have 10 months of gold left over.. your saying they just steal
my money and theres no way to just continue on gold I should have unless I buy it all over again?
