MS games are looked after..... Then again, Many folks cheated Halo too.......

How did Turn 10 get included with a COD game????

Did you guys know, you can file reports on COD games as well??? You can even go to the COD websites for more information!!!!

PhD was making a point about companies that support their games months, even years post-release. There is a report system in post-MW2 CoDs, but I doubt they pay much attention to them.

Not to go off-topic, but I think that Activision should go the EA route and just terminate the servers in the games that they aren't supporting.

 

So, having servers availlible for multiplayer is not supporting the older games???

Again, use the console features or, in game options to report unwanted behaviour... Avoid any unwanted players and BAM!!! No issue!!!!

I can find clean matches at random with no problemo...... What's your issue???

 

I do those things but then you'll probably find more people who do idiotic things without any repercussions from the developers. What's the point of keeping the servers up in those games if a small population of players are legitimate and the others are
using cheats to gain an unfair advantage to others?

I don't play the older CoDs, I play up to MW2 and end at Black Ops II now. I think they just have them online on CoD4/WaW because they're too busy with other games and forgot to turn them off.

 

I guess I am a magnet for the stuff, cause I run into daily. Oh well Under The Dome comes on tonight . lol

Whats even worst is that if you get into a modded lobbie you will get permant ban for trying to play a game and the ones that actually cheat and hack will if they are caught get 2 week ban. To me that says ms dont care about the customers. When Black ops
1 came out I knew people were cheating and when I got invited by a friend I took a screen shot of it. The person did something and when we entered the game I had a blue version number at bottom right that basically gave you all the perks. I posted it on youtube
and was taken down by either MS or 3arch or both and reason was copyright issue lol yea right. I had proof that people was cheating when the game came out and still cheating before this game and after it and nothing is done. Im tired of the excuse from MS
well the game is played on the game company servers contact them. In all honesty you have to log onto xbox live to even get to it so why not stop them there.

 

To stop the mods would mean that Microsoft would have to drastically update the security code of the Xbox 360.

Majority of these mods are done by 'hacking' Microsoft code and hardware before the game even has a chance to talk to the publishers/developers servers.

A developer can patch all they want but if the holes are left open at Microsoft's end then they are always going to be fighting a losing battle.

Microsoft likely consider it a waste of time and money to try and stop modders on the 360, dedicating their efforts to making sure the situation doesn't get a foothold on the One instead.

 

About the time the xbox one was introduced, the ban for playing in modded games was reduced from permanent to two weeks, proving microsoft no longer care.

All modded games should have their online capability removed by microsoft, forcing the developers to act.

You do know joining a modded lobby is not a crime, Once you figure out the mistake, you leave.... Or enjoy the perks.

Thus a suspension. Or a Ban. Depending on user action.

Then again, We could all just move on from such a silly debate..... MW2 is no Destiny

get enough people together an tell them about bad rep, they will be matched up against NO one but themselves & they can cheat all they want. IF you abuse bad rep than you might also find yourself with a bad rep.

 

MW3 was released in 2011. I highly doubt they will ban hackers but it's sad to see these games being torn away. I have an Xbox One and I already hear complaints of hackers on Black Ops 2 (Probably, one CoD game in the top 5 of all CoD from my view.) My neighbors
had an Xbox 360 at the time and we played Black Ops 2 so much. I just can"'to see these games being torn away. Sometimes, I wish that Infinity Ward would refurbish Modern warfare 2 (which will never happen) Because, there's no way you can save MW2 from hackers.
And World at War? That's even worse than Mw2 hackers. :l
