    MW3 DLC wont download


    Just replying to say I have been experiencing the same issue and I can't believe how long it took MS and Activision to accept that this is a problem on their side. On top of that, they're taking their sweet time with the fix and only giving us vague updates
    like "it's being looked into." The way they have handled this issue is totally unacceptable. They had better compensate us for this.

    My kids use the xbox and im a ps3 user. Ironically i bought a 2nd hand copy of mw3 for xbox as a few of my mates have it and begged me to join online. Guess what? Wanted to download all map dlc to get the same experience i have when playing mw3 on ps3. My
    money has been taken but like everyone else cant download drop 4. This is pretty poor really. When will it be sorted?

    MW3 DLC wont download

    Hi,

    I was able to download all four collections. They are also now shown as installed inside the game. I also briefly tested to play and at least one of the collection maps worked, so I guess also the rest will work.

    Thanks for fixing this. It took it's time, but good that it could be resolved.

    Just tried and finally NO ERROR CODE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Downloading as we speak!!!!!

    This problem is killing me...I am having same problems as y’all had. i try to download and terminal, and erosion aren’t even up to dl, but i go to my history and its there to dl, when i click on it the error arises. i live in the U.S. so what can i do???

    On my second Activision support chat, I may have received the answer....

    "I see. It seems that you may no longer be able to get the ELITE drops Steve since this was a limited offer before and as of this moment, ELITE premium is no longer available, though players that are still members for the premium will still be able to download
    the contents."

    As the support chat continued, I was told that I had to have Elite before it was removed on February 28 and as long as it was installed, the downloads for the maps would work. As for a refund, they told me I had to contact the 1st party provider (Xbox/ Microsoft).
    Now comes the fight to get back the $22.50 I paid for the map packs (which was half off through March 3... after they deactivated Elite).

    To put this in forum appropriate terms: What a bunch of equine defecation.

    You would hope they would have foreseen this, especially since they were part of the "Deal of the Week" til March 3rd. Considering how much money Activision and Microsoft make together on COD this should never be happening.
