MW3 DLC wont download

There has to be a solution. The collections are still available for purchase on the xbox marketplace and they will be discounted on PS3 starting 3/11. Also I know from owning MW3 on PS3 as well that when you purchase the collections on psn all the elite
drops go into your download history, no need to access them from the in game store, which seems to be the issue here. I doubt they would continue to put things on sale or even have them available if they knew something was wrong. I have a feeling that Infinity
Ward/Activison/Microsoft can fix this very easily once the right people actually find out about this glitch.

 

yeah, I wasted several hours rebooting, redownloading, tech support..... before I read all of this. they have to fix this! c'mon Activision!!

 

Can we get some kind of confirmation from official support that this issue is being investigated at least? Seems like Halo 4 is having the same issue as well.

 

I have to join this thread just to keep it alive. I will be asking for a refund pretty soon if nothing is done to fix it. I am willing to bet everyone here with this problem does NOT have a faulty Xbox. I too bought the discounted DLC when it was on sale,
the Collection packs 1-3. I had Elite at the time I tried downloading them and it still wouldn't let me download. I had it downloaded, but I didn't pay for a subscription for Elite. I have spent hours as well deleting, rebooting, clearing and nothing is working.
FIX THIS!! I spoke with Xbox support and they told me to do the steps they have listed after an hour of them trying to help me they ended up telling me that I would probably have to talk with Activision. Pretty sure I will be hunting down a refund.

Thank you for giving this attention. It is frustrating because I have never had a problem like this. I pay for the DLC and it downloads, this is the first time out of hundred+ downloads that I can't get what I paid for. Again thank you Misses.

Hopefully this issue is resolved. I did not notice the dlc discount earlier and paid full price from all four dlc:s yesterday and the result was this error. I see I'm not alone with this one, but it is really frustrating to spend 60€ (~80$) to dlc and get
obscure promises to maybe have a solution sometimes later.

The thing that gets this worse is that I already own those maps because I bought hardened edition with founder key, which I can't redeem since the elite was shut down last month. So I already paid twice from them and even now I did not get them!

 

I still can't play because of this

 

On the day of 3/17/14 I've recently bought MW3 for the first time. Once I've got tired of playing around in the solo campaign. I've decided to play online but before I can I'm told to download two maps called Terminal and Aground. But unfortunately these
files have decided to not download completely. The download percentage would go from 99% right back to 0%. This really sucks.

 

I have the same problem it starts the download but when a Map finishes it says unable to download also I can't confirm the purchase for some reason.

 

I too talked to xbox support, then activision, then back to xbox chat. The guy on chat finally got me into multiplayer games by going to xbox.com, logging in, and then making the dlc (free) purchase there. This then queues it up on my xbox and I can finally
get the download without the error and play online.

go there, log in, and push the downloads to your xbox.

 

Tried Darren's instructions with collection 1, which I bought previously. It appeared to my active downloads and it downloaded that 108kb size file. After that I went into MW3 and tried to download those maps again. Same problem as before, in game this same
error message and after coming back to xbox home screen it downloads to 99%, then shifts back and forth between 0% and 99% and eventually says that "unable to download.."

Also that 108kb file appears only 56kb in the storage menu, so no change at all.

 

Yea that solution only works with the free maps as those actually appear in the marketplace. MW3 is different than the other COD's in that each map comes as a separate download that has to be done in the in game store and purchasing the collections just
lets you buy the maps for "free." Sadly the people I have talked to at activision support don't understand this and they keep telling me that the 108 kb file is the entire collection. That is why I am hoping that microsoft support comes through for us.

 

This is all so true I needed to download erosion/aground and terminal to play multiplayer and I cannot plz someone help
