I have recently been attempting to purchase MW2 from the Xbox one store, however i am reciving an error notification after i confirm the purchase saying”Sorry: your acount is unable to make this type of purchase on xbox.com. Please complete this transaction
from your xbox.”this has been happening since the day of back words compatable release. This expirence so far has deterredme from making any future purchases, i hope this problem can be resolved.

MW2 Discussion.

I didn't think MW2 was all that spectacular multiplayer-wise compared tot he others. I was heavily into CoD then, but I found it annoying having to re-earn everything again and start over. My first multiplayer profile for the game just felt like another Prestige. The campaign was amazing though. But I have learned that with every release, the quality seems to be consistent. The games don't change, the player does. You get bored and move on. I buy and play CoD annually, but the time I spend on each title is miniscule now. the games are only good for a 10-hour campaign playthrough to me. Looking back, MW2 was nothing special compared to World at War, Black Ops, Ghosts, ect.

 

There are still several ongoing issues open at the moment, one of these is to do with game profiles and online purchases.

I have already seen the status page and the issue has been going on for a long time. With what seems to be verry little updates to the situation, leaving no scope as to wether i should wait for the problem to be resolved or spend my hard earned money elsewhere.
Is there any stipulation as to when the problem is estimated to be resovled?

 

Are you using a child account? If so you cannot make BC purchases on the Xbox One you would only be able to do so from the Xbox 360.

 

Will buying it on xbox 360 effect wether i can play it on xbox one with player who have bought it directly from the xbox one store.

 

No. The account that purchases the game will be able to play it on both 360 and X1. So if you purchase on 360 it will appear in your ready to install list on X1.

 

My question was will i be able to play with my freimds who have purchased it on xbox one store who had not owned the game on 360

 

Yes. It is the same game on 360 and X1.
