    MW2 won't work, just a black screen


    When I start the game, digital copy, it shows the first title screen then goes black and nothing else. My Xbox one is up to date, did all updates for MW2, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, switched my location to Singapore, and nothing is working. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    After the initial loading screen image it goes black, no other menus or anything pops up just a black screen. All other games are working fine.

    Please try doing a hard reset by following the steps below;

    1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

    2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

    Important Be sure to wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    3. Plug the console power cable back in.

    4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

    Please follow the steps below to try to fix the issue;

    - Back out when it is saying " connecting to data centers" bull shit. Then click go offline and proceed to enter a local multiplayer lobby. Then back out of that in the main COD menu and hit the select button, this should work. You may have to update Xbox Live Gold or Game Pass Ultimate after if you've run out.

    Nope, just BO2. I tested Mw2 ,Black ops, and a few other games and they all worked, Black ops 2 is just the only one giving me trouble.
