MW2 won’t launch on xbox1

Just downloaded mw2 on my Xbox1. Downloads went smoothly, just the game won’t launch past the “ modern warfare screen” where it says “press A”. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the game, I’ve restarted the system and unplugged the power cord for 20 seconds. Still no luck launching the game. Any help will be appreciated, thank

I would like to clarify, will you be playing the game online multiplayer, or single-player campaign?

If you will be playing the game online, please make sure that you have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, and then select System > Settings > Account > Subscriptions.

If you will be playing the game's single-player campaign, kindly manage your settings before re-launching the game.

Settings > General > Network Settings > Go Offline.

Re-launch the game.
