MW2 stuck on connecting to servers prompt on start page.

I am trying to Play Modern Warfare 2. It won’t get past the connecting to servers prompt on the start page. I can play other games, i have tried everything from clearing my Mac, resetting the console, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, restarting my router/modem. No matter what I cannot get past that connecting to servers prompt. Any ideas? It’s been 3 days.

If this is happening with just this gam, it may mean that there is an issue with the game itself, however, I checked the game server and everything is up and running.

To test this further, do you have a different network connection that we can try to use such as mobile data? If yes, let's try that out to check if there will be an improvement.

Is the game also stored on your Internal Storage or External hard drive?

Please perform a powercycle on your console to fix the issue, Sammy.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If that didn't work, is this the only game that you're having an issue with?
