MW2 says installation stopped, I have done everything they said and still get installation...

To better assist you, I need some more information from you. Please answer the following questions:



- What is the model and version of your Xbox console?

- How much free space do you have on your internal storage and/or external hard drive?

- Are you installing MW2 from a disc or from the Microsoft Store?

- Do you have an active Xbox Live Gold or Game Pass Ultimate subscription?

- Have you tried installing MW2 on a different console or account?

In the meantime, please try the following steps to see if they help:



- Make sure you have enough free space on your hard drive. You need at least 80 GB of free space to install MW2.

- Check your network connection and make sure it is stable and fast enough. You can test your network speed and latency on your console by going to Settings > Network settings > Test network speed & statistics.

- Pause and resume the installation. Sometimes this can help resume a stuck installation. You can do this by pressing the Xbox button on your controller, selecting My games & apps, highlighting MW2, pressing the Menu button, and selecting Pause installation. Then, press the Menu button again and select Resume installation.

- Restart your console. This can clear any temporary issues that might prevent the installation from completing. You can do this by holding the Xbox button on your controller for 10 seconds, until the console turns off. Then, turn it back on and try installing MW2 again.

Thanks CarTzy for helping but I figured it out finally, I just downloaded the game without the suggested add-ons and it started installing.

It doesn't work. It still say installation stop. My gamer tag is 100%. I restarted it by holding the on botton and unpluged everything. Waited 5min plug everything in but still nothing. The games doesn't even start installing it imediatly say installation
stop.

I have done this no good still says installation stopped and update pending
