    Mw2 2009 multiplayer keeps crashing!


    I am having an issue trying to play mw2 2009 in my series x , I can load up the campaign and spec ops no problem at all and play them but when I try to play multiplayer online it crashes either before I go into a match or in a lobby, I thought maybe the disc was corrupted so I made a new xbox account with a new gamertag on my series x and have zero issues playing online multiplayer on that new account, on the older account I am trying to play on I changed my gamertag about a year or so ago, so when I played mw2 when it first came out I had a different gamertag linked to that account than it is now, what could be causing this issue? It clearly is not a hardware or connection issue seeing as I can play on the same disc on a new gamertag on a xbox profile, any help is appreciated.

    You can also try this after downloading the profile again:

    Go to your network settings and in advanced options change the DNS to primary 8.8.8.8 and secondary 8.8.4.4
