Discus and support MW 2 Freezing only on certain Maps in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; So I pre-Ordered MW2 for the early campaign it ran perfectly fine.     MW 2 Freezing only on certain Maps


    So I pre-Ordered MW2 for the early campaign it ran perfectly fine. However, in multiplayer is a different story. I learned im only able to play 3 or 4 maps that were only in the beta. Any new maps or if I play ground war or Invasion. The game will freeze and do 2 possible. 1, it will freeze and dashboard for me to reboot the game, or 2 it will freeze give me a static screen that will follow me into the dashboard only able to be fixed but hard resetting my xbox. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the game. clearing my MAC address. I turned off settings in game that were known to crash. I tried to request a refund due to this and was denied so im stuck with a broken game.

    Sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with MWII
    If the issue persist even after reinstalling the game the best option is report this problem to the developer

    Okay let's see. Downpour is a MW map. Overgrown was originally a MW map. "Would be perfect for MW3" ... this is Black Ops 2. By Treyarch. Those are Infinity Ward maps.

    played the sh*^ out of this game, whats my incentive for the next one

    Same engine, same gameplay mechanics, similar perks and KSRs, some new weapons, new maps, 2-3 $15 map packs loaded with maps from COD 4 and MW 2, and the same obnoxious community.

    Hey ! I was having this problem for certain maps for TWO months and this Fix works !!

    -Turn on Xbox

    -Click the start button over MW

    -scroll down to manage games and add on

    -click the add ons

    -delete MP2 and multiplayer pack 3

    -do NOT re install those two packs !!!

    -restart console

    -load up MW
