MUWG no login

Cannot log into MUWG since today's windows updates. I can log in to xbox and microsoft mahjongg but Ultimate Word Games just says cannot log in and gives an error message with links that are no help. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and would appear
to be a server side issue.

Message after hitting Cancel button and I do have an active account.

Like other users I can't play MUWG ...

Others games are working (Sukoku, Solitaire, Jigsaw ...)

What happened to MUWG log-in ??

Having the same problem. All other Microsoft games are fine. Uninstalled and reinstalled MUWG. No improvement!!

 

Get this every time. MS Mahjong and MS Solitaire Collection work fine as does logging into xbox live.

 

Same here. But most probably the Windows updates aren't the problem, because I got the login issue before installing them. It persists after installing the updates, too.

Apparently it's a glitch in the system that we can do nothing about except wait. A few days ago there was again a problem with MUWG, specifically Crossword.

There are some changes being made in these games lately, so perhaps they are the culprit.

 

Day two with no logins. Please fix as it also includes my other computers and my wife's computers.

 

Just got home and the program took some time but finally went through an updating process and then was logged in. Was a bit slow but seemed to even out after a bit. Thanks to whomever kicked the server. My wife is also back on too, but she didn't have the
updating process and hers just started up quickly.

We appreciate you reaching out to us with this issue. Can you clarify if you're able to play as a quest? Also, have you tried resetting your router by unplugging it for five full minutes? Also, try logging into your Xbox App on your console as well. Let

Thank you for getting back to us, Mr. Taurus. I tried logging in right now and hey, it works!! Finally. It lagged a bit at first but then there were no more problems.

I'm not sure how unplugging and re-plugging the router would be relevant to the issue, though (all other games worked just fine and there were no connection problems whatsoever while MSUG were offline), but if it helps in some cases, so be it!

On my machine, the problem just resolved on its own, I didn't need to unplug/replug the router or do anything else.
