    I’m playing Xbox with my friend and during a game it randomily mutes him i can unmute him after about 10 minutes and then it mutes him again after about 5 minutes

    Why does my Xbox keep muting my friends and then not letting me umute them

    My Xbox keeps muting people then not letting me unmute them, I also can't even mute people either.

    Can’t unmute friends

    Some of my friends are muted and when I try to unmute them, it won’t let me. Tried spamming the mute button. Leaving party chat and joining back. Nothing is working. Just letting y’all know so you can Truven and figure something out.

    It was a known problem effecting a lot of people. It has since been fixed.

    I also have this issue and so does my son. He has a friend and his friend is unable to unmute him. He didn't place him on mute in the first place. He tries to unmute on his friends list but it just reverts back. I have his friend on my list and he is muted
    under my account....through choice :). But I too can't unmute him now. Tried on my friends list, reverts back to muted. Tried by going under my profile, going to following, selecting muted, unmuting him there.....still the same.

    Anybody got any ideas? Could Fortnite have anything to do with it? Tried going in to party, then going to in game chat, leaving it for 10 secs, going back to party and unmuting. Has worked for some....not for me. Please, help me. my son won't stop moaning
    about it. Is it something that just resolves itself or is that it?

    I'm haveing the same problem I'll be In a party cant hear anyone but shows there talking shows there offline when there online mutes the party wont let me unmute when it finally let's them talk if someone leaves or joins mess up the party again

    Yes, I'm having the same exact problem. I muted a friend to concentrate on gaming and when I went to unmute them, it would not let me. It gives you the option when you go into their profile but it never follows through to fully unmute them. Please fix this.
