    Mute sign constantly on , on my xbox one


    Hi has anybody had this problem before, my headset doesnt work, ive tried a few different ones so isnt the set!

    The console has just come back from xbox repair centre to fix this fault but is still the same

    its been reset back to factory settings

    any ideas please!?

    you left out a key one... listening to those players constantly panting and breathing hard playing the game, and those on the phone yet have their mics on during the entire conversation... i think instead of getting rid of chat, make the mute feature actually
    work. you can't mute anyone in this game even by muting them from the xbox live menu.

    Thank you for posting on the forums today. I'd be happy to help.

    What troubleshooting have you already tried to try and resolve this issue? Have you tried using different controllers and different headsets?

    Have you tried the headset on any other devices like a laptop or mobile device?

    Since you say this happened after a recent update, then a soft factory reset
    would be beneficial to try as well. Just make sure to have your login credentials as you will need to re-add the account to the Xbox during the set up.
