Yes! This fixed it, it was the controller firmware update, which i didnt even realize was a thing. Thank you so much!

First of all, I suggest to update your controller firmware following this article:

Update your Xbox Wireless Controller

If you are using the Xbox Chat Headset, be sure it is connected to the controller when performing the firmware update. In addition, check for Xbox system updates.
