    Mute Command not working


    I just got an XBOX One elite console yesterday to replace my broken XB1. Got it all set up and everything is working excellent except for when I say XBOX mute. For some reason it seems to be hearing the command twice and mutes the tv then immediately
    unmutes it again. I've tried setting up my kinect voice commands multiple times by entering the tv brand manually as well as letting the xbox one gui "guide me". I have also tried power cycling and even unplugging the brick itself. Any souggestions or fixes
    would be appreciated, I really am too lazy to use the remote.

    Can not control volume on both TV and AV Receiver at the same time

    My Xbox was originally setup to operate just the TV. The volume up/down/mute commands worked. Then I added (from device settings) my AV receiver, the volume up/down/mute commands worked on it however the commands stopped working on my TV.

    I reran setup for both TV and AV Receiver. During the setup the test commands worked on both devices. But my issue was not resolved.

    I then removed (from device settings) the AV receiver and the TV volume commands started working.

    Thus it appears my Xbox is unable to control the volume on both devices at the same time. I am able to repeat the steps above and get the same result.

    Kinect I.R. doesn't seem to work, can't connect to TV or Cablebox

    Okay, now the mute command is working only when I stand directly in front of my tv. My kinect is on the mount on top of my tv.

    Setup "On" command with Epson PowerLite 3020 Projector

    I ended up getting it to work by having the Xbox self detecting the settings. I chose Epson TV and when the "MUTE" command was sent everything went black and I hit "A" on the controller and everything came back on. Then finished the setup and now everything
    works great! Even though I never could see the screen after the MUTE command was sent it ended up working.

    Xbox One Media Remote Volume Up/Down, Mute Not Working (TV Set Up Properly)

    Same here! Worked fine on Media Remote and Kinect before the Nov 23rd update and now unfortunately vol up/down and mute now don't work. The command registers on the screen but no signal is sent to the tv. In addition the mute signal is sent successfully
    during setup of the tv which I have run several times. Remote code t0810 Sony tv. Other commands work fine such as power off etc.

    I have an Astro headset that is similar and it works really well just using the Kinect as my mic. Only downside is no mute button (xbox mute command incoming?) On occasion I have had to unplug the usb cable from the mixamp to get the sound to work on the
    xbox.
