    Must test connection to connect to xbox live and internet


    Every time I turn on my xbox I have to test xbox live connection or pc connection, doesn't matter which, to get my console to connect to the internet. The test always results in a connected status but is really annoying. I haven't always had to do this.
    I was able to turn on my xbox and it would sign in automatically and online with no problems. Can anyone tell me what to check? How do I get to connect automatically?

    Cannot get update thus cannot connect to xbox live

    When trying to connect to xbox live, I am prompted to download an update first. I accept the update, but I am told that I cannot connect to xbox live and that I must test my connection. I test my connection. It shows me that it connects to wifi and my
    internet no problem. When it tests the xbox live connection, it prompts me to install the update. I accept the update, but again I am told that I cannot connect to xbox live and I need to test my connection. The status code of the error message is: 4099-0000-0080-0300-8007-0570.

    my account won't connect to the Internet and also when I test xbox live connection, it says internet: failed. And xbox live: blocked??

    Well, I am not having this Problem, so it must be your internet or you Xbox Live connections try doing a Connection Test to see if its a problem With your Xbox 360 / Network / Internet / Xbox Live.

    I have the same issue. The support pages say that if internet tests okay then live will connect. Well, the internet and multiplayer connections test okay but no xbox live. Dull.

    and when I test the connection, it registers that it's receiving internet connection, it just won't connect to XBox live.
