    Must Restart Xbox Frequently to Access Xbox Live


    Since purchasing my Xbox One X Scorpio Edition I have had problems staying connected to Xbox Live. While it infrequently "disconnects" mid session, it almost always requires a restart upon boot up or a restart following a disconnect. I can still see and
    message my online friends, but lose access to memberships, online store, and general Xbox Live.

    It's usually fixed by restarting the xbox even though sometimes it must be restarted twice and even occasionally coming from a cold boot it must be restarted.

    When I say restarted, what I am doing is hitting the guide button, navigating to the System tab and selecting the restart console option. I didn't have this problem with my old first gen xbox one, and while this has a consistent though inconvenient work
    around, this is frustrating to have spent this much money on something to have to regularly restart my machine. Thanks in advance for any suggestions and help.

    Why do I have to pay to access my internet?

    You don't already pay for access to Xbox Live Gold with your internet bill. So in order to access the Xbox Live Gold Service on the Xbox console you must pay for that access. Just like you must pay for PS Plus access on PS4.

    In theory theres nothing stopping someone Jtagging a console and selling it, The fact is when it gets used on xbox live is when you have broken the xbox live code of conduct and ToS, These consoles do frequently get found and permanently banned from accessing
    xbox live.
