Music through headset on Xbox one S??

I always listen to music from Spotify on earphones connected to the controller. Make sure to download the app on the console, log in and the music will be playing in the earphones.

This might be my favorite question to answer yet!

Have you ever heard of controller adapters? Newsflash, guess what they also have added functionality to make more than just the treble and rumble of the sweet, sweet bass and crisp noise come through them inserted headphones!

So the one I use is by Plantronics. It's amazing. Robust, small, has many functions. Read said ones here:

,How the adapter works is it has 2 insertable inputs. 1 for your output, where it puts the video game noise into your headphones (or earphones) and the other one, for this model you can put phone music into the same feed!

Why buy adapters? Maybe you use an outdated controller, and it only has 2.5mm aux jack, and not 3.5mm. A controller adapter for yo Xbox can solve that in an instant, holy macaroni!

I'm guessing your using the app?

Maybe the headsets notches do not line up properly with the internals of the controller.

I find using the xbox headphone adapter produces a better sound and less interference.

You should just have to download the apps and they will run in the background during games

If you install the app the sound should play through your headset just like your games, etc...
