    Music Playing without SNAPPING


    I am confused as to how I can play music of my own from a thumb drive or through media player while playing my games like I did on the 360. The ONE is a powerful system and the lack of this feature is madding.

    I would like to know when this feature will be added.

    Feel like this is a massive oversight.

    Hello there,

    This feature was actually confirmed at the BUILD conference yesterday, and is destined to come to the Xbox One in a future update. It will probably go into a preview build first before being released in that month's public build.

    While I cannot give you a date, at least know that it is on its way.

    Whether it will allow you to play music off a thumb drive is unclear, but possible.
