Music player doesn't offer getting new songs via Xbox music

Hello,

I still can't find a way how to purchase music via Xbox music nor videos via Xbox video. Xbox music doesn't even show up in the music player and Xbox video tells me that it's unavailable in my region. What is my region? I'm from Czech Republic - aka European
Union. In the music player I see just my collection of music I copied there from my PC, history, new and apps. I can't see Xbox music in app store. Any suggestions?

Zune to Xbox

I beleive that any music you bought on Zune is transfered over to Xbox Music. If you go to Xbox Music via Xbox.com you should be able to find it. This was the case for me.

Custom, playlists and songs you have that you didn't buy on Zune and just listen to via Zune won't be avalible, however. You'll have to listen to them via other programmes, such as Windows Media Player or iTunes. Xbox Music is only about streaming the latest
tunes or songs you bought.

Personally, I think Xbox Music is a dissapointment. It's one step behind Zune since with that you could play any music on your PC.

 

Cannot play music to XBOX 360 through XBOX Music App

The setup did work before 8.1

I have attempted to play this music via smarglass but one of the songs in question was not downloaded using my XBOX Music pass. It is a unencrypted MP3 file stored on my computer. When I try to play it via smartglass it does not play. I see there is an
exclamation point next to the song but no error message is displayed. It seems that my XBOX will only play my music in the cloud.

 

Oh I forgot to add some details... Lumia 920, WP8 - Nokia black update.

I believe that Xbox Music is not yet available in the Czech Republic.

 

Might be... So in US or UK it is available and almost nobody buys Windows Phones there. In a country where WP is in the second place behind Android and miles ahead of iPhone it is not available. And iTunes do work. Xbox One is still not officially on the
market here, Windows 8 is horrible... No wonder ppl more and more buy Macs or use Linux. Because it is either free or it WORKS.

I'll keep my money for music then and I am more and more glad that I am not one of MS shares owners.

 

Oh my post was deleted... NICE! Keep up the good work MS! Was it because I mentioned Linux and Mac? That one is free and the other one works? Cause MS products are not free and obviously useless in my country. So why bother anymore? Bing can't find
[Mod Removed] in czech, Xbox One still not available, Xbox music and video not available, Windows 8 is horrible. I'm thinking that in last few years there wasn't a single MS product worth buying - even that Lumia 920 seems to be a mistake now.
