    The Music Deals app for WP says that the featured albums are free with Xbox Music, does this mean that with a subscription I can download and keep the music for ever, or will I lose them if I cancel my subscription? Does free really mean free, or is this
    just marketing?

    Xbox Music can't play songs in order

    Swipe to collection, tap 'artists' or albums', if you tapped 'artists' then tap an artist to see the albums by that artist and tap to play an album or if you tapped albums then tap to play an album. Xbox Music will not play the songs in proper order but
    randomly instead. My music is properly tagged with song numbers. I'm totally obsessive about my tagging. This is a big, big deal on many albums. Almost every Pink Floyd album for example, Alice Cooper's Zipper Catches Skin for another. Too many to list really.

    This has been the case for MS built-in media player since Windows Mobile. I'm about to go nuts waiting for MS to get this tiny little simple thing right.

    Hello,

    My English isn't that good but I give it a try.

    I just bought a free music pass for 30 days and bought a music album. But in the middle of the download it says: Download error.

    How can I download the album again?

    Ik heb net een gratis music pas gekocht en meteen een album gekocht. Maar midden in het downloaden stopt hij ineens en geeft aan: download fout.

    Waar kan ik opnieuw downloaden? Of de download voortzetten? Hij heeft nu maar enkele nummers gedownload.

    Not sure if there are any different licencing deals in the US to the UK, but the monthly subscription just allows me to stream music to my connected devices. I recently paid and downloaded an album via the music store and cannot play it now I have cancelled
    the subscription, although I can still play it on my laptop and phone as I physically downloaded the album to them.

    so I as I can listen to it on my phone I would say you will be ok.

    Alrighty. So it does look like that album is unavailable. This is most likely due to licensing restrictions, especially since this is a soundtrack. Sorry about the inconvenience!

    Music rights are dependent on the company that owns the licensing rights, so some albums and songs have different rights than others. Now when you say you can play the song when you search for it individually, is it off the same album?

    This is both for my Windows 8 PC and Nokia Lumia 920 with Windows Phone 8. Both devices are linked to my Xbox Music pass.

    As I said, I can listen to the songs without problem when I'm listning to it all individualy or just from a album made from that artist. But as soon as I want to listen to that song from an album that has mixed artist, it doesn't work. (Perks of being a
    wallflower).
