Music apps have no sound

It is easy sometimes to smash that mute button without knowing about it, done it myself!

Is this new or has it happened since you downloaded the apps?

Also have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling if this does not work a similar user had the same experience and fixed it by

"Ok I solved this, just go into any random game or app while a song is playing Once you’re in an app with a song silently playing press the home button, now go and select the song that is playing, it shoud pop out and
give u the option to go the the next song and adjust your volume, that’s what you need to do, adjust that volume. I think when Microsoft switched around how that feature worked it set peoples to mute or whatever, so adjust that volume lol. Hope that helped,

Another user said the problem was the song was muted

"Press the home screen button and go down to where your volume meter is. Mine was set all the way down, unbeknownst to me, which could be the same reason you're having the issue"

Is this occurring while using only a headset, or does this happen with all sound even concerning sound from the television?

If the problem persists, try doing a soft factory reset of the console,
reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

I'm not sure how iPhones or Apple Music work in this scenario, but on Android, music will only stop when the app opened has its' own music or sounds. If it works the same way with Apple OS, then my suggestion would be to turn off all sounds in the settings
for your Solitaire game, then try restarting the music and see if it works then.
