@Cloud I think the Nintendo DS game they are on about is "Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective" which most certainly isn't a dig! Ghost Trick was amazing and certainly does remind me of this game. You die at the start and then have to sold murders from beyond
the grave.

 

Mine's apparently "on it's way". We'll see how fast Simply Games post is.

I've had about an hour on this so far and great game.

An interesting story with some original ideas and finally a game that doesn't feel like I've played a "few" times before.

The install size on the One is 12.1GB

The trouble with this game for most people is they won'd know what to expect... and when they don't get what they were expecting they get upset.

The opening is a bit misleading. A brawling detective is thrown from a window... guns blazing.

But the game is designed to be played at a slow pace. Explore the areas and world thoroughly, pick up the clues and use them to put forth the best suggestions for what you're trying to figure out.

The game has some nice touches. It's new. You've not really done anything like it except for some of the investigation work in "LA Noire".

But being a ghost offers a seriously different twist and makes for a very interesting game.

The demons you have to contend with do a pretty good job of creeping you out and making you panic if they go for you considering simply slipping into a hiding spot and waiting isn't necessarily going to protect you.

It's slow but fun and will appeal to those who like to take their time and collect everything there is to get.

As far as replay value is concerned once you've played through once... I'd be tempted to say it is limited but I suspect there may be modifiers and incentives for a 2nd playthrough... I won't know until I get to the end though.

Better than some of the really low scores that have been thrown at it review wise.

Know what you're getting into and if you're up for it you should enjoy it.

Sounds very appealing to me, looking forward to playing this come friday should give the old noggin a work out

 

I must say, it's nice to be playing something that doesn't feel like I've played it before a million times.

All those poor review scores are now baffling me, it's a cracking game!

Sure, it's slow paced, but it's nice to be able to play something slouching on the couch.... I'd be very surprised if it was only 9hrs long too, mind you, I'm exploring everywhere and enjoying all the little hidden bits n pieces.

 

.... oh yeah, and the graphics are pretty nice as well! Far from mediocre!

I wasn't 100% sure I'd want to get it so I didn't pre-order online, just traded in some stuff at game.
