Is totally a waste of time, I have tried 5 times an along with the LONG lobby wait.... at every first TURN there is always a HUGE pile up,crash, bumper-cars, NOT racing, I didn't buy demolition DERBY, I thought I bought a high end racing game? Why cant
they make it so you cannot make contact with anyone?? Im not playing anymore MP until they do that, cannot tell me they cant either because on rival that is how it is, you cant make contact..

alright so i made a kit then sometimes in games my kit has a different gun that i have,nt even unlocked yet. just got the game, so sorry if i am being an idiott

 

it's not just the first corner iv had other players delibratly drive in to me just to stop me over taking them which get's realy annoying

 

Can be frustrating to me as well, but that's racing online when playing with people you don't know.

Best to find a group of friends with the game and race with them, that way there is a mutual respect amongst the racers and you can change race settings to your liking, ie. No collisions is necessary.

 

I think the other night we had about 13 or 14 people ( friends) and had a great time online. Yes, the first turn was a little rough but when you hold back, gear down...wait for it, wait for then hit the hole and "you gone" after that.

 

Ooooops, that was supposed to read "No collisions IF necessary."

 

That's unfortunately the baggage that comes with racing multiplayer, but that makes going for the win more of a challenge and ultimately more rewarding for myself. It is annoying when you get dirty racers in the same lobby as you, unfortunately. I'd hope
the Xbox One's feedback system is deeper and I can actively 'flag' or submit feedback or poor sports.

It gets lairy whether or not you're racing with familiar faces on tracks like Yas Marina, Bathurst and Catalunya anyways. Any track with lots of sharp corners and a demanding driving line will stipulate some crashes.
