Multiple xbox ones in one house

I have an xbox one in my living room. I want to put one in my bedroom as well. I have xbox live gold.

How will this all work together? Can my son play halo mulitplayer in the living room and I play the same in the bedroom? Also all my games are downloads. Can we both play the same game at the same time?

If I have two xbox ones can I use only one xbox gold account?

xbox one will have my tag with gold as Home xbox (primary) and a 2nd account (my gf)

Can my 2nd xbox have my gf as home xbox and me as 2nd account, this will share all the games on both xboxs but will mf gf need to have a gold account?

that's the thing, in this case the active gold account is mine not hers, can I have her account as main account on 2nd xbox then mine with gold as secondary?

As I said I original post, the box we already have has my account with main and gold and her account is 2ndary

 

Your gold and games are tied to your account. So you can sign in and use them on any console. If you leave the living room console as your Home console, your son can still share your gold and games on that console.

 

Can I have more than one home console?

 

No. You can only have one home console set at a time. And you can only change home consoles 3 times per year

 

Keep in mind your profile can be only be signed in on one console at a time as long as it's connected to live to use the content too you don't need to move the home console at all your second console can be your roaming console but the 2nd console your profile
would be the only one that can use the content while the home console everyone can use it

There is never a need to switch your home console except for repairs or you are doing something against the terms of use like game sharing beyond family

 

You may also need a router upgrade to have both those xboxs online at the same time , if you have a "gateway" from your isp it will have trouble routing the traffic properly.....
