  1. Multiple Xbox One's in 1 household & Home sharing help Please!!!!!

    Hi,

I'm literally pulling my hair out with this home sharing larky with MS, I've called many times and get conflicting statements off them in relation to home sharing & I'm close to blowing my fuse as some of them just don't know what they are talking about.

Here is my Issue, I have 4 Xbox ones in the household, now Xbox 1 & Xbox 2 before home sharing I purchased basically all games duplicated, ie 2 x advanced warfare with addons/ expansion packs e.t.c, so both 1 & 2 have individual liscences for same games.

Now I am home sharing xbox one & 2, I've made xbox 1 the home on Xbox 2, meaning I can now access all content purchased on Xbox one with Xbox 2, they are able to go online together on the same game or on diffrent games at the same time. This is great meaning
I no longer have to purchase the games twice.

Now I'm moving onto Xbox 3 & Xbox 4, As Xbox 2 had its own games downloaded & content seperate to Xbox one. Can I now make Xbox 2 home on xbox 3, so basically I can access the content purchased on xbox 2 before the home share with xbox 1?

Kind of like a daisey chain effect, so 1-2 share games, 2-3 share games, I understand that xbox 3 will not be able to play all the content purchased on xbox one. but surely it should be able to play content purchased on 2.

Can I now also only buy one xbox live gold for xbox one & two?, Ie they share gold live?, at present I purchase 2 x xbox live gold account and use this one xbox 1 & 2 so it is seperate live gold accounts, So basically now I'm home sharing can I purchase 2 years
of Xbox live gold and load the 2 years onto xbox one? which will give xbox 1 & 2 access to live gold?

Kindly appreciate any reply to the issues i'm facing & Thank you in advance

    :)

  2. Xbox game sharing

Game sharing is not allowed on Xbox unless you are using a Home Xbox within your household.

Xbox One Needs a Family Plan

Xbox One Needs a Family Plan they say you can share your Gold and Games with everyone in your household but that's not trye you can only share between 2 consols the Home Xbox and the other you have to have there Gamertag signed in.

Its a nightmare for Family that have lots of gamers in the house and want to have multiple consols but that does you no good because only 2 people can play at once I'm about to have 4 consols soon and can't even use them unless I buy 2 copys of games that stupid we should be able to share withanyone in the house any time.

Need a Family plan like the 360 but this time Gold and all content shared for upto 4 consols just need to allow us to add more My Home Xbox and limit it to a Home Network to prevent abuse.

Ya I know Phil says Game sharing is coming but when the time is now the games are coming the time is now need to take care of the familys buying multiple consols and controllers and lots of games

  4. Multiple Xbox One's in 1 household & Home sharing help Please!!!!!

This post did hurt my brain a little so i'll try and keep it simple.

All digital game purchases come with 2 licenses. One will be tied to the gamertag that bought it and one tied to the console.

Game sharing works flawlessly between 2 consoles only. Gold can only be shared between 2 consoles only.

That being said you can play games on a 3rd or 4th console if the gamertag which bought the game is signed into that console, however this will mean you won't be able to sign into console 1 or 2 with the same tag at the same time you are signed into console
    3 or 4.

If you are planning to play simultaneously on 3 or 4 consoles with the same game which has only been bought once then its not possible.

I take it 4 different people are using each Xbox?

Also be careful as you can only change your home console 3 times in one year.

Xbox game sharing does not goes well with MS family and parental control features.

The home sharing feature is designed to be used on one console within the same household. Unfortunately, you have found the limitation of trying to use it across multiple consoles.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate family sharing

Yes. But what about households with multiple XBOXes. There can only be one home XBOX in use with Gamepass or Gold, which means that, with multiple children, they are restricted to using only one of the XBOXes. What is the reasoning behind prohibiting multiple
    XBOXes as home XBOXes?

Game pass shareable or nah brah?

It's shareable on the Home console. Say you have a friend bring over a console, you can sign in on theirs, and they can sign in on yours, and you'll both be able to use the Game Pass. I currently share this with my partner as we have multiple xbox units
in the same household. It's just a matter of making sure your Home console is going to be the one they use.

    Hope this helps.
