    I purchased my xbox one about 10 months ago and have had multiple issues. After about a month the audio started skipping for a couple of seconds every 15-20 mins. The xbox was returned to Microsoft and a replacement console was sent out ( second hand ) I
    was happy enough about the new console but not very pleased I received a second hand console when as far as I am concerned the 1 i sent was brand new. The console was delivered to me by UPS but instead of being left with a neighbour it was put in a wheelie
    bin ( not Microsofts fault but added to the issue ) after another 3-4 months the cooling fan on the replacement xbox started to make a lot of noise which got worse and worse over about a month. This console was sent back and this time a brand new xbox was
    sent out ( happy customer ) as it stands the xbox is working great. About 3 weeks ago the controller that come with the original xbox stopped working correctly so has been sent back and today I received an email to advise the replacement controller has been
    dispatched. That is 3 issues within the original 12 months warranty with for me is unacceptable. On the whole Microsoft as been very good at dealing with the issues but my worry now is that the warranty is coming to an end and I don't want to pay for repairs
    on goods that are obviously not up to scratch to last the long term. I spoke with the support team today who told me they can only offer an extended warranty on new consoles which I feel is unacceptable. They advised me to post on here and someone who can
    help would be in touch so please advised what help is available. i.e a further year warranty

    Xbox One - Multiple issues.

    Change the batteries in your DOE controller... while you have the batteries out, slightly pull the contact tabs in the controller out a bit, so that the batteries fit more snug.... The rumbling can possibly fudge the connection with the batteries....

    There's a good grip of threads on the controllers acting up... The above is how I fixed my DOE controller.

    I haven't tried a BD movie yet... I gave all of mine to my parents when they built a home theater in their house.

    I haven't witnessed the pinned stuff not loading up... Are those pinned apps dependent on internet? Or are they solely local apps(like settings app)

    G'day Skorch! When you sign in on your console, how stable is your connection to Xbox Live? Your pins information is account-centric and not related to your console, so it's possible that your account is trying to update your Pins list online.

    As for the Blu-ray playback, what happens when the disc fails to play? Are any of the affected discs from a different region than your console? Although games & console are physically region free, not all Blu-ray movies follow that suit too.

    I must have missed the controller issue on the Xbox One support page. When the battery is low, the rumble feature is disabled. It makes sense, but I would prefer an battery indicator icon somewhere. I still haven't found a permanent solution for my Blu-ray
    issues or the Home Screen losing information.

    I had green screen trouble at start. did off line update and got up and running. After that I lose my home screen (pins) too, have to repin everything. Also had a game automatically reinstall itself.
