    Multiple Xbox home, different rooms, multiple gamers


    We have an Xbox One and just purchased a new Xbox series X. My 3 children share the consoles. However, my oldest child owns *most* of the games on his account (which is home on the Xbox X) - he also plays the most. We have xbox live accounts on the "home"
    microsoft account for each Xbox.

    My younger son can't access games though (on the xbox one) that my older son bought unless he plays on the series X that my older son usually plays on. That leaves the third child and mom only able to play in on the Xbox series X as well.

    The biggest issue is that the location of the series X is the most desirable in the house and everyone's first choice. Switching the Home account on the Xbox One to my son who owns the games means that no one who logs into the Series X, besides him, would
    be able to play them as I understand it.

    Is there a way to have the games available on both consoles no matter which gamertag is playing? I am so confused by all this.

    In summary:

    One Xbox series X (prime location in house with 4K tv)

    One Xbox one (secondary location)

    2 Xbox live accounts

    4 Microsoft accounts/gamertags

    Perhaps, but they need to find a way to expand this. Maybe tie it in to consoles registered tot he person or by consoles connected via the same IP address. Microsoft clearly doesn't understand the multiple console home where playing together but on different
    TV's and in different rooms is important.

    The Xbox in my living room is the Home Xbox with multiple accounts including my account that has the Game Pass.

    My Home Xbox in the living room has my account w the Game Pass and my kids accounts.

    If we set up the old Xbox in my daughter's room will she have access to play games with her Xbox that are downloaded on our Home Xbox?

    Home Xbox is about if to play on the same purchased game license - or?

    Mostly digital purchases.

    And if having bought games on optical disk - you can have them installed on both - and just have disk inserted for the person that want to play at a given time.

    So to switch home xbox might not be needed at all - depending on how and what you play.

    Somebody correct me if I am wrong.
