Multiple xbox consoles

I have an Xbox one elite that is designated as my HOME system and then i have two more Xbox one S so my kids can all play at the same time. I have bought games and downloaded them to the Home system and then transferred them to the other systems so the kids
can play them on their accounts. I do have the family account set up. The kids have been able to play whatever games I have transferred without signing into my account, and they have their own Xbox gold live accounts. I recently bought rainbow 6 siege and
transferred it to the other consoles so they can play it, but each time they try to play the game it says they need to have the account that purchased the game to sign in so they can play it or go to the store and purchase the game. How can this be? I own
the game along with many other games that they can play on the other consoles without having my account signed in. Example I own Overwatch and its downloaded on all the consoles and the kids have no problem playing the game on their accounts and I'm not signed
in on them. So whats the deal? I own rainbow 6 siege and now my son can't play it on his account on a different console unless he signs me in also or buys the game! Not gonna buy the game twice! It makes no sense especially when he can play other games that
we have transferred to his console with no problems. Any ideas or thoughts to help this problem?

Multiple consoles

I now have 3 Xbox one consoles in the house, my question is how do I connect them to where we can all play online together. Do they each need their own Xbox live subscription or what. My Xbox one is set as the home Xbox and I'm confused on how to set up the other xboxs

You can only share content for two consoles. Set one console as your home console. (I use the living room xbox). Now anyone who plays on this Xbox has access to live and your games. The other Xbox's have access only when you are logged onto them. What I ended up doing is purchasing Xbox live for my sons account, and just buy him the few games he wants to play online at the same time.

Kinda sucks but that is the only solution until they come up with a family share.

 

That's very odd that they could play the other games honestly. They should only be able to access the game's on your Home console.

 

Theoretically how it is supposed to work.

1. No matter which console a profile is signed into it should always be able to play its digitally purchased games and use any of its subscriptions. As long as any console that is not the profiles home console is hooked up to the internet.

2. Each profile can set ONE console at a time as its HOME console and any other profile on the HOME console can play any of that profiles digital games and use its subscriptions. Keep in mind that you can switch which console you have set as your HOME console
only FIVE times a year.

so with that in mind there is a glitch somewhere in your systems that are allowing them to play your digital games without their consoles being set as their home console.
