Multiple X1's... same GT...??

After the arrival of my newest bundle of joy; my X1 S; I now have 2 X1's in the household (I know..... just silly.... )..... my burning question of the day is:

How can I be signed into BOTH consoles at the same time with my GT? Or is it not possible...? This is a legit post, I'm not trollin...

Some routers can have issues with multiple x1's. I had this issue and nothing fixed it. I bought a netgear r7000 and now have no issues. I have 2 x1's and 2 360's in the house that are sometimes all on.

 

Since the update, my X1 can't reliably log me in or connect to Live.

I'm having the same issue internet test passes, fails on multiple player test i'm getting a 0x700 code on multiple player test, reset my network rebooted X1 many times.

 

The 2 consoles are connected to the same IP, so why not? (theory)

Now, if say you connect the old one to another IP far from home, then perhaps not?? (again, theory)

 

You can have your profile on both consoles but you can't be signed in on both at same time

 

Yeah, you can't be signed into two Xbox One's at the same time, only 360 and X1 at the same time.

 

Otherwise you could just buy a game digitally and then sell the game to hundreds of people by giving them your "sign in details".

A normal gamer isn't going to do this but you'd just need to make a stunt tag and then you get paid while hundreds of people get the game 'for free'.

This is marketplace fraud and people have fallen for this practice and had their "games" taken off them because they were obtained through this sort of marketplace fraud.

... and the answer to your question, although it's already been answered already, is... You can't be signed into both consoles with the same gamertag at the same
time... if you didn't really already know that.

 

You can only log on to one Xbox One with an account, it will immediately log you out of any other console when you log on.
