Multiple USB flash drives on Xbox 360

Hello everyone.


Today i brought a external Hard drive and i pluged in the console.

The external Hard drive is recognized by the console, however one of my USB flash drive stops working and it dosen´t show in the storage devices list.

When i removed the external Hard drive the USB flash drive works again and it shows in the storage devices list.



The console has:

• a internal Hard drive
  
• 2 USB flash drive
  
• the external Hard drive

My question is how USB devices does the Xbox 360 recognized at once ?

You need a 16 gb USB flash drive. It MUST have sufficient read speed 15mb/s

"This initial install will require an Xbox 360 Hard Drive or an external 16GB USB flash drive with at least 8 GB of free space. If using a USB flash drive it must be at least USB 2.0 with a minimum 15mb/s read speed and formatted for Xbox 360 use. A new USB flash drive is recommended to ensure optimum performance. "

Do i need a HD?

XBOX 360 Consoles, Can Only Recognise A Max Of 16GB, On A Flash Drive & You Can't Use A USB Hub With Multiple 16GB Flash Drives Either (USB Hub, Is Recognised As One Device & One 16GB Drive...) Your 24GB Flash Drive, Will Be XBOX Configured To 16GB Too..

I've Never Had To Try All USB Ports On The Slim Though, As The HDD Is Big Enough..

Data Transfer Is Slower On USB, Compared To HDD Storage Though & You Might Experience Some Lag Using Large USB Flash Drives On BF3..

 

The 360 is set up to only recognize 2 USB storage devices at once.
