Multiple Progression profiles for same game

Hi,

I'm fairly new to Xbox and excuse me for asking a very simple question. I have been running a game (Rocksmith) from a flash drive and decided I wanted to backup my progression file after each session in case my flash drive gets corrupted. In looking at
the storage on that drive, I see 3 Progression Profiles all with the same creation date and time. Which would be the most current?

Splitting a profile

Hello everyone!

I would love your help...

I have a problem, I used to live with someone and we played on the same profile so now I am unable to transfer my progressions to a new profile. I find very old answers to that saying I have to start over... Is there any new improvement to the problem so
I do not just loose 5 years of progression?

There is no way i get the profile. It is his and his has far more things save there than I do... I want at least to get my AC progression back

While I am not 100% sure about this, I believe the 3 progression files apply to the 3 different progression paths - Lead, Rhythm, and Bass. I'd suggest back in up all three just to be safe. Best way would be to back up the whole Rocksmith Folder - highlight
the Rocksmith in the list and press "X" to get the options to move or copy all the files to a backup drive or to the Cloud storage.

Transfer all 3, if each gets updated every time, the game uses them all.

Ok, after further research this is the setup:

32GB FLASH - 1 Rocksmith file Created 5/19 11:41 AM I run the Rocksmith game off this Flash Drive.

CONSOLE - 1 Rocksmith File Created 5/19 11:40 AM

2 Rocksmith 2014 files BOTH Created 5/19 9:43 AM I run this game from disk right now.

I assume the one on the FLASH drive is the current one for Rocksmith since it's creation date is 1 minute ahead of the console.

Have no idea which is current for Rocksmith 2014 since BOTH have the same date and time????

I understand in some games you can do a manual backup when you want but these 2 games do just auto backups. I don't know if the manual ones have different dates & times based on when they are made.

Is there any way to determine when each of those two were UPDATED, not created?

Like I said, I'm new to EXBOX and these games.... Thanks!

Firstly, thank you for replying so quickly,

So, if I'm understanding you correctly,

The problem is that the same profile is signed in on 2 locations at same time ?

my main priority is keeping my son's progress "he plays multiple games"

I'm a part time gamer, only occasionally halo and forza,

So I don't mind losing progress and starting over,

Is there a way he keeps my profile and we can both game at same time,

Or should I just pay for another game pass ?

Removed profile. Power cycled. Still no progress shows on anything. Tried redoing a few with no progress shown on multiple games. I did lose my battlefield 4 campaign data so that's fabulous
