    Multiple Problems.... I got a lemon


    OK I have sent in my son's XBox One 3 times since Christmas. Early January sent it in for power issues, got it back started it and kept going to contact customer support screen, sent it back again, got it back and the disk drive is making noises, now I got
    it back again and the disk drive will not read the disk. I tried multiple disk and now I am about ready to yell at someone. Does anyone at the XBox support center check to make sure these things work? How many times do I have to send back something before
    they say I have a lemon!

    Thank you Microsoft!

    It's lemon now. Must have got a different console to mine? My X1 is playing games like I was told it would.

    Sorry to hear it. Can you please try the following steps to enable the disc to start reading:

    1. Head to Settings

    2. Go to Disc & Blu Ray

    3. Uncheck Enable BD Live

    4. Click Persistent Storage and Clear it 3 times

    5. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down.

    When the console starts up again see if it will read any discs. If it does not then I'm afraid you'll need to send the console in again.

    Replace Xbox Elite Controller

    I offer just a suggestion and that is return it or buy another controller. There are plenty of great controllers out there. This is a great controller you have you just got a lemon of course. I got a lemon on my first one also. I got a new one and it has
    worked perfectly.

    okay MS! fix the problem! i bought the Xbox 360 4gb Boxing day - played with it no problem. January it frooze - I thought my new external HDD i bought caused the problem - went exchanged the unit (still in exchange period) - got the 2nd unit - same problem!
    (okay maybe i got a lemon?) then i exchanged for the 3rd one! this time not plugging any external ms HDD in there... it freeze (noticing it was after they ask me to update) at this time i havn't even started playing with the console nor finish the initial
    setup and it started freezing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    i can't have 3 LEMON Xbox 360 from wal-mart can i???

    So are they going to fix those elite 2 controllers or not?

    I am sure they will come out with another model. However not all of them are bad controllers. There were a bunch of lemons in the bunch i had one lemon to be exact. However i returned that lemon and got another one and it performed perfectly and continues
    to with no issues whatsoever. I suggest get another controller or if you dont want to return that one try a completely different brand. There are plenty of controllers that rival the elite.
