Multiple people playing Titanfall on same network

Anyone having issues with more than one console wanting to party up together to play? Anytime we try we instantly get disconnected from the game, I hope this isn't an oversight by them.

MacBox doesn't work (latency)

I can play multiple FPS games like Titanfall + Streams on my laptop on the same network at the same time, still Xbox won't play Titanfall stand alone.

Asked Titanfall on Twitter for help, got redirected to support topics and I have done everything they say (ports etc.). Don't know what to do, I talked with Microsoft support.

It sucks for some. Luckily I will be playing with the same 5 people I have been playing Titanfall every night with.

 

Are you talking about a LAN party running onto the internet? Or are you talking about a party of friends?

 

Me and my buddy are on the same wireless network and played earlier in a party. No issues here.

 

Not a LAN Party we're just on the same modem, and when we party up and go to a match we can't join together it disconnects us both.

 

Maybe your ISP can't handle it? Do you typically do this?

 

We've played other online games together on the same network before just not for the Xbox One, he just recently got his system and we noticed the issue.

*Update* Changed my Router to another one in the household and we we're able to play DR3 minus some lag and party chat lagging, will try Titanfall later again and see if it was the game or not.

 

Maybe your speed/specs. can't handle the traffic load?

 

I can't see that being it, we have around 30Mbs internet and we've played some pretty heavy games before. I figured if it was a speed/specs issue than it would just be lagging instead of just completely D/cing us.

 

you are having a network conflict.

would be a good idea to manually set up the xboxs IP address.

 

If it was a conflict wouldn't the internet just not work on either console? The internet still works on them and we can play games alone fine, the issue only occurs when trying to play together and it's also only for Titanfall as we tried DR3 and that worked
out.

 

Thanks for the replies guys, after looking through my setting some more I think this may be happening because I have a moderate NAT type I'm going to research how to open it and try it out.

 

NAT needs to be open, it causes alot of network and disconnects, server connect problems if not.

And setup manual ip, as SuicideAngle said. Always a good idea.

 

to resolve the moderate NAT, stick the xbox's into a DMZ on the router.

Or open the ports as described by the MS article
