    Multiple of the same Gamer-tag idea


    Here’s an idea, I’m not sure how well it would work but I just came up with it and rushed over here. Why not let people share the same Gamer-tag, but they cannot share the same profile photo. And being able to use a custom profile picture that shouldn’t be an issue to anybody at all. That way you could discern each profile that shared a gamer-tag. Perhaps with a limit of 100 on each of the names usable for gamer-tags as so that too many people don’t pick one thing, and too avoid mass confusion. What also might assist in this would be making the custom profile picture option more seamless. Like using Bluetooth to transfer photos from your phone to your Xbox, or a USB connection. Just a though, die hard Xbox fan here and just sharing my thoughts!

    I don't think changing your gamer tag to your personal name is a good idea.

    However, Microsoft has been buggy since the gamer tag multiple change feature has been available.

    Nothing to worry about :) Try again later or switch the gamer tag characters around.

    I am having the same problem for weeks - gamer tag is . I have been on with support for hours and they have basically washed their hands of it. I can't see or use my account balance on xbox one only and only with respect to this gamer tag.
    It works fine on 360 or on xbox one with another gamer tag. Any idea if our accounts will be fixed?
