Multiple networking problems

Im not even sure how to describe the problems im having. 3 days ago my one and my 360 stopped connecting to live properly. I have lots of problems signing in, and even when i do manage to get signed in the only thing i can see is the home screen with a box
on the side saying i need to connect to xbox live, even though i can see my friends tab on the side. I cant access their profiles though if i try i get a long loading screen with a error code at the end.... sometimes, most of the time it just keeps trying
to load even if i leave it for more than an hour. I have tried reseting my router many times to no avail, tried to hard reset the console, nothing works. If i try to see my detailed network statistics it just goes to a blank black screen, it doesnt even have
a blank space underneath of download or upload or latency or anything it's just completly blank. I just bought a new 2TB S model too to replace my launch console. Need some help please.

This sounds like a hardware fault to me. But can you try removing all the cable from the Xbox (including the power and power brick) and leave the Xbox for 10mins

Then reconnect everything and try again. If that does not help I think you'll have to return it to store or to Microsoft for a repair

Networking Problems

When i got to test connection, the Xbox keeps doing this: It searches for available wifi connections loads them, then immediately searches again, then says i have an ethernet cable connected but the a split second later i dont. It keeps doing this
and when i finally get to test connection, it switches between using wifi and wired as a network. I tried disabling the wifi, didnt work. How can i fix this? i cant even play on Xbox LIVE or connect to it at all.

 

Log out of all profiles on the console then remove your profile from the console completely. Perform a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from
the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational reload your profile and try logging in. Give the login a few minutes as it make take some time.
