Sometimes after turning my xbox on, there will be a little gray, rectangular box in the bottom center of my screen. It is see through, and doesn't matter if I am in a game or not. The only way to get it to go away is restart the Xbox (which sometimes takes
multiple tries). The next issue is that the Bly-Ray player usually doesn't recognize ANY disc until I eject and re-insert it several times. I can leave the disc in and it still won't play next time I turn my xbox on, unless I take it out several times. Finally,
I tried to play The Witcher 3 after a few months without playing it. I downloaded the update but, even though I have inserted the disc, it says I don't have permission to play the game. I usually have to restart the Xbox a few times to play it. This occurs
even if I quit the game, and try to play the game again without even turning off the Xbox. What gives?

    :)

Official MS Xbox products can be detected by the console.

As for repairing your console yourself, that's a direct violation of the ToU, and could result in a console ban.

    Hello,

If you've already gone through the standard troubleshooting steps on the Microsoft support site in regards to the
E71 error and the E79 error then your only option is to get the console repaired. We are not able to help with 3rd party repair tips or tell you what to
get replaced. Any talk of 3rd party repairs or local shop fixes are not to be discussed on this forum. Getting parts swapped out by a 3rd party will result in the console being unable to connect to LIVE eventually through present or future firmware updates
so this console would pretty much be useless right when you open it to replace anything.

If you'd like to take advantage of the official repair service then please visit this site
here, other than that, no one on this forum will be able to assist you with this particular matter.

First thing to try would be a hard reset. Try this and let us know how it goes.

Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational test
    for results.

    Good Luck!

  5. So, the game issue is gone. The gray box might be gone. It didn't always happen so it may be a bit to see if it pops up. I don't have a blu-Ray to test so not sure there, either.

There is an issue that I forgot about. When I turn my xbox on, after the Xbox One logo, instead of bringing up my dashboard it just has a blank dark gray screen. It will sit like that until I press a button on my controller. What's up with that?

I was to at a few stages having issues with cloud-saves but they appeared to fix themselves over a day. It was with Black Ops 3 and would say it couldn't retrieve save but I went past that and it worked after a few minutes. Keep me posted.
