    Ok so I'm using my gf's 360 for the time being since mine kept overheating and it is getting repaired. My profile has been on her system for a while now so I signed into it.

    I downloaded SFIV and onto the harddrive and it was playing fine then all of a sudden when I try to play it it says storage device removed game cannot be played, and goes back to the main menu, I press start again to play, it says disc can't be read please
    clean with damp cloth etc.

    So I go to another game and everytime it tries to connect me with another play it just stays in the loading screen...and doesn't do anything.

    In another game it keeps saying I need an update but it says it can't download the update.

    Finally when I go to turn it on it needs my email and password for my profile and then says it can't connect to it. And if I go to the sign in screen my profile isn't there but if I go through the sign in menu its listed but gives me the same response.

    It connects to my gf's profile fine but gives me the same issues as stated above with games.

    What is going on???

    Since everything is working again I would assume that there was some kind of connection issue somewhere between you and the marketplace, I personally don't think it was on your end, maybe your isp or something related to the service alert. As long as it
    doesn't happen regurly I wouldn't worry

    Actually, the problem went away all by itself about twelve hours after I posted this thread. I'm not exactly sure as to why, though.

    Hey there Brunner! Thanks for posting! That definitely sounds confusing, so let's see what we can do to get things sorted.

    At first glance, it sounds like something may be wrong with the storage device. It could be just a portion of the device, or it could be the entire thing.

    Here's a few questions to help us get a better idea of the situation:

    1. What sort of storage device are you using with this console (Microsoft Hard Drive, 3rd Party Hard Drive, USB Drive, Internal Flash Memory, etc)?
    2. Are you able to play disc-based games without issue?
    3. When you go into your storage device on the console (Settings > System > Storage > then selecting your storage device), do you see any corrupt files? Those are noted by a yellow exclamation mark ( ! ) next to them. I would check under "Profiles" and "Games
      and Apps" first.

    You can also try redownloading your profile and seeing how that goes for you. To do that:

  5. i have same problem cleared cache reformatted harddrive downloaded profile 3 times same garbage it say unformatted drive tou people just seem to try making us run in circles it doesnt even ask ask to load from harddrive or cloud anymore

    Hey there See!

    While nyteflier is correct and the functionality to "share Gold" isn't on the Xbox 360 console. We have a very cool feature coming to Xbox One called "Home Gold".

    Hello.

    1. You cannot share live that way. Only she will have gold access on her account (this is changing for the xbox one platform!)

    2. If she downloaded a game on her profile, only her account can play it offline.

    when im connect to xbox live system doesnt allow me to play (demos, full games, videos, etc)

    If you're having issues with multiple profiles and multiple games when they are installed to the hard drive, regardless of not having issues when offline, it would likely be an issue with the hard drive. How long have you owned it?
