Multiple headsets on Xbox One

My brother and I each have headsets; I use the Turtle Beach Ear Force X12, and my brother has the Razer Carcharias. The Turtle Beach came with the DSS2, a Dolby Surround Sound 5.1 audio processor, which connects to the Xbox with an optical audio cable. This
works perfectly fine with both headsets individually, but connecting them at the same time is a pain. I have a female 3.5 audio-to-USB and another USB port to connect the other headset, but the audio cable doesn't seem to work at all. We both have the Stereo
Headset Adapters (for chat), but we've tried several combinations and none of them allow both headsets to properly play Xbox sound. Am I doing something wrong, do I need some other adapter, or is it just not possible to connect and properly use 2 headsets
for the Xbox One?

I am having this same issue on a one X. I have tried multiple headsets, multiple controllers as well as networks

 

Xbox One headset not working

I can't get my headset to work on my xbox one. When connected, the mic icon appears but I can neither hear people speaking nor can anyone hear me. I've updated the controller multiple times with the headset connected. I tried it on different controllers
and even tried a different xbox one headset. Why won't it work?

 

Nevermind; as long as both headsets have power going to them and they are connected to the adapter and nothing else, they will both work fine.
