Multiple games fail to start even downloading (Riftbreaker and Now Halo Infinite) error...

Hi there Tim welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. Well, I suggest you try this:

Open the Settings app it is the gear in the start menu.

Open Accounts

Click Sign-in Options

Scroll down to Privacy

Uncheck "Use my sign-in info to automatically finish setting up my device and reopen my apps after an update and restart."

Restart your PC!

I have the same problem. Halo Infinite downloads every day. I play the game for a few hours. Shut down, go to bed, get back on the following night and the game starts a full download again and usually fails with a variety or error messages. I can usually get the download to start again by clearing caches, resetting apps and basiaclly trying to remove all remnants of Halo, but then it kicks off yet another 47Gb download.

In fact, i just downloaded the game again and it broke instantly, before I could even start the game, and started the download all over again. This is munted.

I followed these steps but now I cannot test Halo to see if it works because I get the follow error when I try install the game: Error Code 0x80070424 it wont even start downloading

I had this issue, I downloaded Halo infinite and it played fine so played around 15 mins of it. Then came back to try play it and this issue came up, after that I tried everything on the web to fix and the problem still persists. Tried uninstalling Halo and now I cannot even reinstall the game due to 'Error 0x800704CF' and now the game wont even install after it was working fine earlier! Apparently there was an update to fix this issue but still have the problem no matter after being fully up to date on my system
