The list of games on game pass pc that are not working correctly continues to grow for me.

Evil genius 2. Launches the config window then does nothing after selecting dx12 or Vulcan

Next space rebels. Loads to 35% then crashes to desktop

Halo Infinite. Loads fine till it changes to the actual loading screen for a game then crashes to desktop and makes it look like I quit the game leading to matchmaking bans. I now play via steam.

The download speed is supposed to be limited by the windows updater limit. But it’s not. Which means if it downloads something I can’t watch a stream at the same time as the app sucks up the entire bandwidth despite windows update being limited to 3mb/s.

I’ve been trying for weeks to get a fix but nothing works. my system is very high end and shouldn’t be having these issues which are clearly 100% software/gamepass related as proven by the fact that steam versions work fine in the case of infinite and windows update is capable of limiting its download speed as expected.

Win11 latest build (not beta or insider)

I appreciate the effort but this isn’t the issue. As other games work without issue aoe4 for example and anything not running on gamepass.

Hi there Adam welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. I suggest you try these basic troubleshooting steps!

Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

Click Check for Updates;

Click the Download and Install Now option, if available;

Also, check the Microsoft Store for any updates on the Xbox apps and its services.

Then try this:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

Then do the same for the Xbox app:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for Xbox app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

If it still doesn't work you're going to uninstall the games services using a powershell command, then you're going to open the gamepass app, it will ask you to download and install the game services again :

In the windows search bar type Powershell > Right click and select open as administrator > Type the command: "get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-Appxpackage –allusers" > Wait for the process to finish and then restart the PC, then open your Xbox gamepass app, it will ask you to install the gaming services again, install it and try again.

Turned xbox off and back on to see if it would fix and now it refuses to boot. Has been spinning the load wheel for 30min
