Multiple devices into the HDMI-in port

I want to plug my media streamer and Sky HD into the HDMI-in on the xbox one, is it as simple as going to buy

I really don't think it's the hdmi cable, I used used multiple cables, on multiple tvs, and in multiple hdmi ports on each tv, also the cables work for other devices just fine. The only thing I am having this issue with is the slim Xbox 360, it's really
strange.

You can, I tried doing the same thing with multiple devices and it worked well. I plugged an hdmi switcher that I had into my xbox one and had my cable box and Apple TV plugged into the switcher (360 has a broken hdmi port) and everything still functioned.
I think the thing you have to watch out for is any possible lag

works great and had no issues, have sky, PS3 & PS4 hooked up with it

 

Does anyone else notice input lag when using a PC or PS4 via the HDMI In?

Is there a way to stop/negate it?

Sort of. You have shown a box that splits 1 input to 2 outputs. You need one like @R1CH5TER is showing 3 inputs to 1 output.

No idea why you would want to run these through the xbox though, as the xbox will only control the sky box. Just plug the media streamer into another socket on your TV or use the updated media features of the xbox one and forget the extra box.
