Multiple controller triggers not calibrated properly

    Hi,

When playing Forza 5 on Xbox One triggers on controller do not correspond to the amount of Throttle or brake generated by the game.

Basically with either trigger pulled about 75% the game interprets this as 100% Throttle and/or Brake. This makes the game VERY annoying to play, there also does not appear to be any options to re-configure or re-calibrate the triggers.

I have tried two different controllers with the same result.

Are there any fixes for this? Has anybody else had this issue? I have recently updated the game but the issue is still there.

    A4Silverlink.

    :)

Left analog stick button too sensitive

I bought a slim xbox 360 controller to play Dark Souls on my pc, and I really like the controller, except for one thing, the left analog stick seems to be calibrated to be ultra sensitive. Even when I'm hardly putting any pressure on it at all in-game, it
still triggers. In this case, it makes the character start walking (rather than default running).

I tried calibrating but it looks like the analog buttons don't get calibrated since all it tested were the Z, X and Y axis, not how sensitive buttons where.

I'd love to either make this button much less sensitive, or disable it if need be (not disable the analog stick entirely, just the push-in aspect). Is this possible?

    Xbox one controller triggers

    I have done that.

It's taking me to a simple calibration guide which is good.

It configured the analog sticks nicely but it can't effect the range of the triggers. It only balances them equally.

The full pull input is being registered too early at about 60 percent pull.

Those triggers bigger range than the Logitech controller I have.

That's the reason I bought this controller in the first place.

    For its great trigger range.

I never even had to consider a calibration with the Logitech f710. I didn't even know that calibration even existed for gamepads.

It was working perfectly for a lot of years plug n play.

Why is my right analog stick not working on Xbox

Hello Troll2, My name is David. I am an independent advisor, happy to help you today.

I'm sorry you're going through this.
We will try to repair it
The right analog stick may be out of calibration. Try calibrating your controllers by following these steps:

Connect your controller to the Xbox.
Go to your Xbox console settings and select "Devices and accessories."
Select the controller you want to calibrate and then select "Calibrate."
Follow the on-screen instructions to calibrate the controller.
Once the calibration is complete, check if the right analog stick is working properly.

It is also possible that the right analog stick is dirty or has debris that is affecting its operation. Try to carefully clean the joystick with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid using strong liquids or chemicals as these could damage the controller. After cleaning it, check if the joystick works properly.

    Best regards.

    My left trigger doesn't work

    Hello Vicki schram,

    Greetings!

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

It seems that you're experiencing issue with the left trigger in your Elite Series 2 controller. Let's troubleshoot the issue with the left trigger not working after replacing the shell.

It is possible that there was a misalignment or problem with the trigger mechanism. Let us check though by performing some steps to help resolve the issue.

Here are the troubleshooting steps that we can perform:

    Check Trigger Assembly:

    - First, ensure that the trigger assembly (the part inside the controller) is properly seated and aligned.

    - Disassemble the controller again and carefully examine the trigger mechanism.

    - Make sure there are no obstructions or misalignments.

    Inspect the Shell Installation:

    - Double-check that the new shell is correctly installed.

    - Sometimes, improper installation can lead to issues with buttons and triggers.

    - Pay close attention to the trigger button's alignment within the shell.

Test the Trigger Without the Shell:

    - Remove the shell and test the trigger without it.

    - Press the trigger directly to see if it registers any input.

    - If it works fine without the shell, the issue might be related to the shell installation.

    Check for Damage or Debris:

    - Inspect the trigger button itself for any visible damage or debris.

    - Clean the trigger area using compressed air or a soft brush to remove any dirt or particles.

    Calibrate the Trigger:

    - Go to your Xbox settings and navigate to Devices & connections > Accessories.

    - Select your Elite Series 2 controller.

    - Choose Configure > Calibrate trigger sensitivity.

    - Follow the on-screen instructions to calibrate the trigger.

    Update Firmware:

    - Ensure that your controller has the latest firmware.

    - Connect it to your Xbox or PC using a USB cable and check for updates in the Xbox Accessories app.

    Test on Another Device:

    - Connect your controller to another Xbox or PC to see if the issue persists.

    - This will help determine if the problem is specific to your console or the controller itself.

Remember to handle the controller carefully during disassembly and reassembly. Hopefully, one of these steps will help you get your left trigger working again!

We look forward to your response. Kindly let us know, if there is any misunderstanding or clarifications of our description by sending us a reply.

xbox 360 controller on windows problem.

    Hey SiphonicStew110 -

You want to consider exchanging your Xbox 360 controller for a different one if you aren't able to properly calibrate the settings. :)

    STOP LISTENING!

Go to the settings and set it all up and calibrate it. Calibrating will recognise your TV's volume and stop the Kinect from picking up it's background noise in the future so it's important to calibrate with your TV on higher than normal volume, beware though,
it can be quite startling. If your TV is loud it may be mistaking the trigger word "Xbox". From my knowledge, I believe that once you've said "Stop Listening" saying "Xbox" will turn it back in to listening mode which may be triggering commands.

    -

Are you playing online with no headset? People commanding with their own voice commands may be coming through the TV to control yours too.
